SUZANN - Started planning block parties in NYC and organizing shows at the age of 10. Suzann obtained a Masters of Science in Education degree from St. John’s University in Queens, New York. Teaching public school for over 14 years has required flexibility, attention to details, organization, ability to establish rapport and relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Serving as school club sponsor for National Junior Honor Society and Chairperson for the School’s Spirit Committee for the last 10 years has provided numerous opportunities to plan and implement School-wide events such as dances, bridging ceremonies, community service projects, reward parties, and Track & Field Days. As an Instructional Specialist for over 8 years, there have been many grants and state/federal monies to oversee. At home, Suzann is the proud Mommy of 5 year old Robert, chairs the neighborhood’s social committee which among other things hosts annual Chili and BBQ cook-offs, and volunteers for the Heart of Texas Labrador Rescue. When there is free time, Suzann enjoys reading, cooking, and the outdoors.

LORI - Unable to determine her career path of either a Structural Engineer or Teacher, she chose an even stranger direction. Lori went up to Alaska fishing. After an injury, a few years later, she decided to keep her feet on land. She at times, is known as a Jill of All Trades, Lori went on to work in Executive Management positions throughout the private sector and Government. Lori later decided to live a simpler life - as a mom, hmmmm? As a mom of two wonderful toddlers, she enjoys her time with her family. Her biggest joys in life are her children and husband, mountain biking, hiking, snowmobiling, cars, being with friends and listening to silence (did she mention she had 2 toddlers).

LARISSA - Beginning in 5th grade, Larissa helped implement and organize Physical Education classes for grades 1-6. After obtaining a Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Texas at Austin, Larissa worked to research and secure grant monies for community members, non-profit organizations, college postgraduates and public school teachers. Larissa is a certified teacher of Science. Over the past 15 years in education she has served as Student Council Director, Science Department Chair, Team Leader, and as a leader in Parent Involvement Committees and Spirit Committees. During the course of her teaching career she has been named Teacher of the Year and was voted, the past two years, by the 8th grade student body as Best Teacher. She has also enjoyed teaching canoeing and ocean kayaking for After School Programs and a variety of activities during summer camps. Larissa is mother to two wonderfully intelligent children and aunt to 6 young nieces and nephews.
